Paid Leave Reporting

Each department is responsible for keeping records of Academic Assistants and Research Associates/Assistants sick and vacation leave covered under Articles 13 and 24 of the AAUP Contract. Member of AAUP are not required to report time and attendance through the TAS system. Because of this, departments are required to track vacation and other paid leave for Academic Assistance and Research Associates/Assistance. Individuals should work with their supervisors to gain approval for missing regularly scheduled work.
